A leading organization is seeking an Manager, Accounting to lead its core accounting function. About the Role Reporting to a senior finance leader, this position is responsible for overseeing the full-cycle accounting process, including monthly and quarterly close, while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. You will also play a key role in developing team members, enhancing internal processes, and supporting broader finance initiatives. What You’ll Do Lead and manage the month-end and quarter-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial results Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses to maintain high-quality reporting standards Oversee key accounting activities such as accruals, allocations, and balance sheet reviews Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal control frameworks Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data flow, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency Support internal and external audit processes and address related requirements Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including financial institutions and regulatory bodies Contribute to system enhancements, process improvements, and finance-related projects Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, supporting performance management and career growth What You Bring 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience across public accounting and/or industry environments 2-3 years of management experience Experience operating in a large public company is strongly preferred Exposure to process automation and continuous improvement initiatives within finance Familiarity with ERP systems and involvement in system implementations or upgrades is an asset Proven ability to manage and develop teams in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills, with the ability to present insights to senior leadership High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Why Join This is an opportunity to step into a leadership role within a collaborative and results-driven environment.
