Recruitment Team Lead at LeverageTek Staffing Solutions LeverageTek is actively seeking a Project Manager (Finance & Corporate Planning) for a 1-year term with its Ottawa based customer. Work Location Hybrid 3x a week on site (first couple months) the 4 days a month at HQ in Ottawa Security Clearance Enhanced Reliability Key Tasks Lead implementation of the new PSAS Conceptual Framework and financial statement format, including updates to SOPs, systems, chart of accounts, reporting and consolidation processes Support or lead the Climate-Related Disclosures (TCFD) initiative Document and improve the year-end financial reporting process, addressing audit findings and improving communication across branches Enhance quarterly processes, including risk management, corporate objectives tracking, and coordination of the corporate planning cycle Develop/update the Integrated Planning and Budgeting SOP/POL Support Quality Management System (QMS) activities Conduct analysis of internal control and process gaps, including segregation of duties Continue supporting performance, risk, and corporate planning activities Key Qualifications Demonstrated project management experience in finance or strategic planning functions. 5–10 years’ experience in finance, accounting, project management, or corporate/strategic planning. Strong writing, analytical, and critical thinking skills and ability to work independently and engage confidently with senior executives. Other Qualifications Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. Experience in corporate planning, performance measurement, risk management, or internal controls. Public sector finance or financial services background. Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies, enterprise risk management (ERM), or corporate performance frameworks. Assets Experience in change management or supporting organizational transformation initiatives. Experience developing or implementing policies, SOPs, or governance frameworks in a public‑sector environment.
