Your Job Perform high-quality credit analyses in accordance with the standards established by the Credit Centre, and make recommendations Structure credit applications, including financial analysis, cash flow assessment, debt servicing capacity, collateral review, and identification of key risks. Develop financing scenarios that meet client needs while aligning with the Bank’s risk appetite and credit policies. Participate in assessing client financing needs in collaboration with Commercial Banking Relationship Managers. Negotiate credit terms and conditions with the Credit Risk Management as needed and confirm the availability of financing for the Commercial Account Manager Incorporate feedback from Relationship Managers on preliminary credit applications and ensure compliance prior to submission to the Credit Centre. Contribute to the preparation of credit documentation and maintain accurate and up to date client credit files in collaboration with account support teams. Act as a credit resource for internal partners and support knowledge sharing related to commercial credit. Identify risks inherent to sector activities and contribute to proactive risk management. Reporting to the Financing Solutions Manager, the position is based in the Fraser Valley District in B.C. As a Hybrid role, you have some flexibility to work from home, but you will also have to travel occasionally for client and team meetings. Basic requirements Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, combined with a minimum of three years of experience in commercial lending or business credit analysis. Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and interpretation of financial statements. Solid understanding of commercial credit principles and debt servicing capacity. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to effectively collaborate with partners and form well-reasoned recommendations Languages English (preferred) and French as a professional working language.
