What we’re looking for We are looking for a strategic and data‑driven Senior Director of Online Marketing – Global to join us on a 13‑month contract to lead our end‑to‑end digital ecosystem across brand.com, CRM, and paid media. This role will drive global campaign execution, optimize performance through testing and personalization, and unlock growth through first‑party data and customer insights. You will lead and develop a multi‑channel team while partnering cross‑functionally to deliver cohesive, scalable marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, brings a strong point of view on digital innovation, and is passionate about driving measurable impact. This is a hybrid role, based 3 days a week out of our Toronto office. What you’ll be doing in this role Lead, develop and grow a team of +10 digital marketers focused on paid search (SEM), organic search (SEO), paid social, display, email and website channels, and content development. Effectively manage and grow the skillset of people managers, nurturing further team development. Partner with regional commercial business owners to drive program success and development. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry news, best practices and changes in platforms, and identify how they impact existing programs. Partner with Online, Brand and Design teams to define and execute scalable multi‑channel marketing initiatives, audience and messaging strategies to drive awareness, traffic, and revenue. Manage the brand.com content calendar and campaigns globally ensuring we are creating campaigns and experiences that allow us to reach business objectives. Lead the go‑to‑market planning and execution of brand.com including content, product merchandising, marketing strategy, and customer experience design. Assist in the launch of a Customer Data Platform allowing us to personalize and segment digital experiences for the consumer. Manage the program post launch to ensure effective use of the platform. Actively develop strategies to increase 1P data collection. Own a multi‑million dollar marketing budget and ensure it drives a strong ROI tied to both performance and awareness goals. Develop strategies targeting increases in traffic region by region. Lead end‑to‑end digital acquisition execution to support business objectives. Skills and qualifications needed to get the job done 12+ years experience in digital marketing. 7+ years experience managing people. Advanced working knowledge of search engine marketing (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads), search engine optimization (SEO), paid social ads (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube), display/programmatic, email (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), Customer Data Platforms and web analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager). Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on data. Experience working in eCommerce and/or loyalty and/or beauty industry is an asset.
