Position Summary Field Sales Managers will provide the Sales teams and District Managers with the sales expertise and activity management necessary to support continued long‑term growth. They will coach and develop rental sales and lease sales associates to improve sales cycle time. Location 2500 Bd Pitfield, Saint‑Laurent, Quebec H4S 1Z7 – supporting Halifax, Moncton, Quebec City and Ottawa locations. Major Responsibilities Develop Leases Sales Representatives, Rental Sales Representatives, and Branch Managers through coaching, training, and deal support. Identify development needs and deliver training programs, monitoring application and progress. Provide training and support to shorten learning gap of the sales team, ensuring they are knowledgeable, prepared, and successful. Coach District Managers and District Rental Managers as necessary. Share sales and operational knowledge to inspire and motivate others. Demonstrate emotional intelligence and drive to achieve the highest level of performance. Provide insight and feedback regarding performance of Sales team based on appropriate evaluation methods and target setting. Monitor performance and sales activities through the District Manager and District Rental Manager. Initiate and coordinate performance improvement actions in collaboration with the DM. Recruit and participate in hiring of field sales team members. Deal-Based Coaching and Sales Associate Development Train and coach associates through the sales cycle to achieve proposal presentations and deal closing. Assist with deal strategy and provide strategic oversight and direction through the sales process. Ensure sales training, process, and playbooks are executed; develop sales routing and prospect contact schedules. Manage account and prospect assignments, quota attainment for LSRs and RSRs. Maintain understanding of competitive landscape and collaborate on market opportunities and territory alignment. Maintain daily communication with District Managers on sales progress and associate performance. Manage corporate sales initiatives and ensure appropriate customer account assignments. Other projects and tasks as assigned. Qualifications 5+ years in the transportation industry; experience with multi‑location customers preferred. 5+ years of sales experience preferred. Sales management experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Ability to manage complex relationships in a virtual environment. Expertise in networking and negotiating. Analytical skills – ability to comprehend data and present findings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to influence business partners, see the big picture, and create strategy. Strong relationship building at all organizational levels. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deliver results. Ability to build and lead a sales team. Strong customer focus and highly collaborative. Strategic thinking. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. Willingness to travel as necessary; work at the required location; complete background investigation and drug screening.
