We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated C++/Python Developers to join our Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) Technology Risk & Pricing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and expertise in Fixed Income risk and pricing to deliver innovative solutions for risk management and regulatory projects Location: Montreal (day 1 onboarding onsite/ in-office presence required 3x/week) Responsibilities Analyzes Business requirements and creates technology requirements by collaborating with different business teams. Create Technology solutions by collaborating with technology team members. Deliver end-to-end solutions using high quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to the issues. Willing to learn Financial business and new programming languages. The candidate should be able to handle the full life-cycle of the project from requirements analysis to final implementation and rollout into production and also have outstanding communication skills. Skills Required Hands on programming experience in C++/Python Hands on programming experience in Java is nice-to-have Hands on programming experience in scripting languages Perl/Shell scripting is required Experience with querying and analyzing the data using Sybase and MS Excel Fixed Income/MBS business knowledge is a definite preference.
