We are looking for a high‑performing Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive outbound sales, build relationships with top eCommerce brands, FBM sellers, and vendors seeking smarter drop‑shipping and LTL/parcel solutions. This is a hybrid role based in the Vancouver, BC area (2 days in the Vancouver office; flexible remote work for the rest of the week). What You’ll Be Doing Win New Business: Identify, engage, and close mid‑market and enterprise clients in high‑growth verticals like furniture, home goods, fitness, and other large‑item categories. Own the Sales Cycle: From first touch to signed contract, lead discovery, demos, proposals, and handoffs with precision and confidence. Expand Our Reach: Use outbound channels (email, LinkedIn, cold calls, trade shows) to build a strong pipeline and open new verticals. Be the Brand: Represent Freight Club at industry events and client meetings across the U.S., building trust and visibility. Collaborate Cross‑Functionally: Work with marketing, product, and operations to deliver tailored logistics solutions. What You Bring Experience: 5+ years in B2B sales or business development, ideally in freight, logistics, eCommerce, or SaaS shipping platforms. Industry Know‑How: Solid understanding of LTL, large‑parcel shipping, or eCommerce fulfillment. Bonus if you know dropshipping or 3PL. Sales Excellence: A proven track record of exceeding quotas and turning cold leads into long‑term partners. Strategic Thinking: Ability to understand customer pain points and craft ROI‑driven proposals. Tech‑Savvy: Comfortable with CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot), prospecting tools, and sales enablement platforms. Strong Presence: Confident communicator who can engage senior stakeholders and represent our brand with polish. Self‑Starter: Thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and enjoys building from the ground up. Bonus Points If You Have Experience selling to Shopify brands, Amazon FBM sellers, or digital‑native verticals. Background in launching new markets, products, or outbound sales channels.
