Van Vliet Term Professor – Agricultural Economics Formal applications are invited for a term account at the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Saskatchewan, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026. The position is 1‑3 years long and is open to applicants at all career levels. Responsibilities Conduct high‑quality research in agricultural economics, with a preference for agricultural trade and policy. Teach up to three courses per year at undergraduate and/or graduate level, including courses in the economics of international agribusiness and trade. Provide leadership and mentorship to graduate and undergraduate students. Engage with relevant agriculture industry stakeholders. Qualifications PhD in Agricultural Economics or Economics. High‑quality teaching and scholarship record. Experience or strong interests in agricultural trade and policy. Ability to work in a collegial academic environment. Salary & Benefits Salary is based on rank: Assistant Professor $113,527–$135,535; Associate Professor $135,535–$157,543; Full Professor $157,543–$183, ‑2027). Additional research support is provided.
