Operations Manager – Beverage Production (GMP / HACCP Focus) Location: Kitchener, ON Company: GOODVIBES JUICE CO. As we continue to scale, we are looking for an Operations Manager to lead and build our production and quality systems. Role Overview The Operations Manager will oversee daily production, inventory, and the production team, while building and maintaining systems aligned with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who has experience in a regulated food or beverage manufacturing environment and is excited to scale operations. Key Responsibilities Production & Team Management Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality Manage, train, and develop production staff Develop production schedules based on demand forecasts Monitor performance, throughput, and labor efficiency Inventory & Supply Chain Manage raw material and finished goods inventory Coordinate purchasing and ensure material availability Maintain accurate inventory tracking and lot control Quality & Food Safety Enforce GMP and HACCP programs across all operations Support and maintain food safety systems and documentation Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and food safety standards Lead deviation investigations and corrective actions Process Improvement Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste Develop and maintain SOPs and standardized workflows Optimize production processes for scale and consistency Documentation & Compliance Maintain batch records, SOPs, and production documentation Ensure full traceability of materials and finished goods Support audit readiness and regulatory inspections Packaging & Fulfillment Oversee packaging operations and ensure label accuracy and compliance Ensure proper use and control of packaging materials Facility & Equipment Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production facility Coordinate equipment maintenance and ensure operational readiness Qualifications 3–7+ years experience in food or beverage manufacturing Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety systems Experience working in a GFSI-certified environment (SQF, BRC, etc.) or equivalent strongly preferred Experience managing production teams Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Hands-on, detail-oriented, and process-driven Nice to Have Experience with functional ingredients or dietary supplement–style products Experience preparing for or supporting third-party audits (e.g., GFSI, regulatory inspections) Experience working with or managing co-packers Compensation Base salary: $85,000 – $110,000 CAD , depending on experience Performance-based bonus opportunities tied to key operational KPIs (e.g., production efficiency, waste reduction, quality/compliance metrics) Why Join Us Opportunity to build and shape operations at a growing company High ownership and impact role Fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment How to Apply Please send your resume and a brief note outlining your relevant experience to
