They are seeking a driven accounting professional to join their corporate finance team in a highly visible role supporting financial reporting, process improvement initiatives, and strategic projects. DescriptionThe Manager, Corporate Accounting will play a key role in overseeing financial reporting and corporate accounting activities within a fast-paced environment. This individual will support monthly and quarterly close processes, contribute to external reporting deliverables, and partner cross-functionally with various finance and operational teams. Key responsibilities include: Managing corporate accounting activities, including reconciliations, financial analysis, and reporting processes Supporting quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements and related disclosures Reviewing and analyzing financial results, variances, and operational metrics for senior leadership Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and joint venture reporting activities Identifying opportunities for automation, reporting enhancements, and process improvements Researching technical accounting matters and supporting implementation of accounting policies Collaborating with auditors and internal stakeholders on reporting and compliance initiatives Mentoring junior team members and contributing to a high-performing finance function QualificationsCPA designation with progressive experience in public accounting and/or corporate reporting environments Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards Experience working with consolidations or complex accounting transactions is considered an asset Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization Advanced Excel skills is an asset Self-starter mentality with a collaborative and adaptable approach The posted salary range reflects expected compensation for this role in accordance with Ontario pay transparency requirements.
