Group of CompaniesPOSITION SUMMARY The Director, Project Controls is a senior leadership role responsible for establishing and governing the systems, processes, and analytical discipline required to plan, monitor, and forecast performance across complex transmission, substation, and large‑scale infrastructure projects.This role is accountable for building and enforcing a standardized, integrated project controls function that provides accurate, decision‑grade visibility into cost, schedule, and risk across the Major Projects portfolio.The position operates in direct partnership with Project Directors, Construction Leadership, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment between execution, financial performance, and contractual obligations.CORE RESPONSINILITIES Project Controls GovernanceEstablish and enforce standardized project controls frameworks across all Major ProjectsImplement consistent baseline management, change control, and forecasting disciplineProvide clear executive reporting on cost performance, schedule status, and delivery riskPlanning & SchedulingGovern development and maintenance of integrated, resource‑aligned project schedulesLead structured schedule reviews focused on critical path integrity and recovery planningImplement schedule risk analysis and scenario modelling to manage exposureCost Control & ForecastingEstablish disciplined cost management practices including budget governance and commitment trackingEnsure cost‑to‑complete forecasts are accurate, current, and reflective of execution realityIdentify and escalation emerging margin risks earlyAlign forecasts with change orders, claims strategy, and contractual entitlementsPerformance Monitoring & ReportingDevelop and maintain portfolio‑level dashboards and reporting frameworksLead recurring project performance reviews with Project Directors and executive leadershipProvide analysis on performance drivers, root causes, and required corrective actionsSystems & Process DevelopmentStandardize WBS/CBS structures, data models, and reporting hierarchiesImplement scalable tools and processes to support portfolio growthLeadershipLead and develop a specialized Project Controls team across Scheduling and Cost ControlBuild scalable capability aligned with increasing project size and complexityDrive consistent adoption of project controls practices across project teamsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE15+ years in project controls, cost management, or planning leadership within large infrastructure or utility constructionDemonstrated experience supporting contractor‑side execution on complex EPC or capital projectsProven capability in:Cost forecasting and cost‑to‑complete modellingSchedule development and critical path analysisIntegrated cost and schedule performance reportingStrong working knowledge of Primavera P6, SAP, Viewpoint, Procore, or equivalent systemsAbility to operate effectively with Project Directors and senior leadership in a high‑accountability environmentPOSITION CONTEXTProjects include large‑scale transmission, substation, and infrastructure constructionPortfolio growth requires increased standardization, forecasting accuracy, and performance visibilityThe role is central to improving margin control, schedule predictability, and overall project delivery performanceCANDIDATE PROFILEExperience grounded in real project execution, not reporting‑only environmentsAble to translate field conditions into credible forecasts and performance insightsComfortable identifying issues early and driving corrective actionEffective in environments where systems and data maturity are evolvingAPPLICATION Qualified candidates with relevant project controls leadership experience in utility or infrastructure construction are encouraged to apply.#J-18808-Ljbffr
