He/she also conducts field monitoring and coordinates construction activities. Design, review, and approve detailed construction plans in compliance with safety standards and applicable regulations Coordinate and monitor the progress of all phases of construction projects Planning and scheduling Compliance reporting Resource allocation Cost management Conduct field visits to ensure quality control of construction work Establish construction project budgets, monitor them, and provide cost forecasts Manage tenders and material procurement for construction projects Comply with, understand, and promote company policies and regulations, particularly regarding health and safety Perform any other related duties within the scope of the position Training & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Engineering Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in construction project management, preferably in underground environments Mining modules 1 to 5 and 7 Good computer skills – Microsoft Office suite and Deswik (an asset) Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset Skills and Competencies Ability to work in a multicultural team environment Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Organizational skills Autonomy Attention to detail and accuracy Leadership and ability to supervise field personnel Strong verbal and written communication skills Working Conditions Eleonore mine site (fly‑in, fly‑out from Montreal, Chibougamau, Matagami, Rouyn‑Noranda, Val D'Or and Wemindji) Schedule: 8 days on, followed by 6 days off#J-18808-Ljbffr
