Salary Range: $115,000.00 To $130,000.00 AnnuallyThrough our unique position to provide completely unbiased, independent advice to employers, Eckler’s consulting team is looking to expand the scope of our services to includecompensation consulting expertisefor our clients across Canada.We are looking for consultants, located in Toronto or Vancouver, with subject matter expertise and strong interpersonal skills who can work within a tightly knit team and can effectively deal with competing priorities in a busy consulting practice. Typical projects will include developing comparator groups for benchmarking compensation levels and program design attributes to market, developing short- and long-term incentive plans, gauging the alignment of pay and company performance, studying market trends and monitoring changes in legislation. Consultants may assist or lead thought leadership research projects or publications, take part in business development opportunities, and can contribute internally on various firm-wide initiatives.Roles and ResponsibilitiesDevelop compensation strategies, philosophies, and programsProvide consulting services to senior management on a variety of remuneration issues, including competitiveness of pay, performance, measurement, governance and regulatory implicationsDesign short-term and long-term incentive programsDevelop recurring business through effective client relationship building, account management and collaborative working with colleaguesLead proposal writing and shaping of opportunities for medium sized/complex clientsLead the delivery of complex projects while ensuring client satisfaction, effective project management and good communication/collaboration among colleaguesServe as project lead on the E-comp platform, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to support successful delivery and adoptionManage client expectations and deliver high quality work that exceeds client expectationsContribute to thought leadership/research and speaking on National platforms to enhance and extend the Eckler brandServing as a mentor and actively supporting the development of junior staff membersWhat you offer5 – 8 years of compensation consulting or in-house compensation experienceComfortable presenting to committees and senior leadersExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong analytical and statistical abilitiesAbility to develop strong working relationships with both internal and external clientsStrong project management skills combined with an ability and willingness to meet tight deadlinesA degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business, Statistics or related fieldAdvanced Excel skillsA passion for your work & collaborating with othersProvide leadership to coop students and team membersOther helpful (but not required) assetsPrevious experience at a consulting firmDepth in the regulatory environment across CanadaWhat we offerCollaborative and engaging atmosphereVariety in work and ability to evolve and grow your careerWorking with colleagues across Canada and across multiple practice areasOpportunities to help build and evolve our practiceCompetitive compensation in terms of salary, bonus and paid vacation time (commensurate with experience)An entrepreneurial, collegial work environmentHybrid work environment and dress for your day approach (3 days in office minimum)At Eckler, we value diversity of all types.
