Work Schedule:FIFO 14/14 RotationEmployment Type:Contract | Long-term contract opportunity with expected annual renewalsOur client, a major Canadian mining company, is seeking an experiencedConstruction Supervisor – Civilto support a large multi-year capital projects portfolio at a remote mining operation in Northern Ontario.Reporting to the Construction Superintendent, this role will oversee civil, structural, and building envelope construction activities within a heavy industrial mining environment, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise civil, structural, and building envelope construction activities on siteCoordinate contractors, subcontractors, and field crews in a remote construction environmentEnsure compliance with Ontario construction, safety, and applicable regulatory requirementsMonitor construction progress, schedules, productivity, and quality performanceSupport field coordination between construction, engineering, and project teamsReview contractor methodologies, progress reporting, inspections, permits, and timesheetsAssist with RFIs, field issue resolution, and change management activitiesPromote and enforce strong safety standards and site proceduresQualifications10+ years of construction supervision experience in mining, industrial, or large infrastructure projects, with previous experience in Ontario mining being a requirementStrong civil and/or building envelope construction backgroundStrong knowledge of Ontario construction and safety regulations and experience working within TSSA-regulated industrial environments and applicable TSSA requirementsPrevious experience in heavy industrial or mining environments is requiredExperience working on remote or rotational projects is preferredAbility to work a 14/14 rotation at a remote mining siteWhy Join?
