Employment Details Employment: Permanent Entry path: Direct Entry Captain Type rating: Not required — training provided License required: ATPL (TCCA) Accepted licenses: TCCA Total time: 3,000+ hours MPIC: 1,000 hours Medical: Class 1 ICAO ELP: Level 4 or higher Visa sponsorship: Not provided Qualifications Minimum total flight time of 3,000 hours, including 1,000 hours MPIC. Valid ATPL issued by TCCA. Current Class 1 Medical Certificate. ICAO Level 4+ English Language Proficiency. Able to obtain and maintain a RAIC. No Transport Canada violations or suspensions. Willing and able to travel away from home, including occasional overnights. Type rating not required; successful candidates will receive full Dornier 328 training. Responsibilities Lead safe, efficient flight operations as Captain on the Dornier 328, upholding company SOPs and regulatory standards. Exercise sound decision-making, threat and error management, and exemplary CRM. Plan and execute flights: performance calculations, fuel planning, weather and NOTAM review, and operational briefings. Mentor and support your crew, fostering a professional, safety-first culture and positive passenger experience. Complete accurate logs, reports, and documentation in accordance with TCCA requirements. Maintain currency, take part in recurrent training, and champion continuous improvement.
