London, Ontario • On-site • Full-time • Reports to VP of Sales Mayne is a London, Ontario company that has been designing outdoor living products built to last since 2006. We started from a simple idea: outdoor living shouldn’t mean constant replacement and premium prices. Today we sell across Amazon (US and Canada), Wayfair (US and Canada), Costco, Sam’s Club, Home Depot, and our own direct channels. Our business runs on drop shipping one unit at a time, across multiple warehouses, manufacturers, and shipping methods — every order stitched together through EDI and API. We run on NetSuite, and our multi-carrier shipping platform is one of several systems currently under evaluation, with potential replacement being a meaningful project for this role. THE ROLE We are hiring a Business Systems Lead to own the systems behind how Mayne sells. This is a senior individual contributor role. It is not entry-level and not currently a people-management role, though scope may grow over time. The role is based in person at our London, Ontario office. We are looking for someone who builds, not someone who directs developers from a distance. The person in this role uses modern AI tools — Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, or similar — to ship SuiteScripts, internal tools, EDI mappings, and automations faster and more reliably than a traditional analyst can. AI‑assisted building is a core expectation of the role, not a nice‑to‑have. This role exists to turn our systems into a lever for sales growth — building the tools that help us launch faster, react faster, and scale across channels without adding headcount. Operational reliability is the floor, not the ceiling. It is best suited for someone who forms a clear view, makes the call, and sees it through. You are comfortable owning direction and finishing what you start, and you do not wait to be told what to build next. RESPONSIBILITIES Own the systems that support how we sell — NetSuite, marketplace integrations across Amazon, Wayfair, Costco, Sam’s Club, and Home Depot, and the data and workflows that connect them Build tools and automations that help us launch new SKUs faster, keep listings and pricing accurate across every channel, and respond to marketplace changes in hours, not weeks Give the sales team real visibility into channel performance through dashboards, reports, and data pipelines that answer what’s selling where, at what margin, and why Compress the time it takes to onboard a new retailer or marketplace from signed to selling, and remove the systems friction that slows sales decisions in between — pricing changes, promotions, inventory adjustments, content updates Keep the operational plumbing underneath (EDI, order routing, shipping and carrier logic, warehouse and manufacturer integrations) healthy enough that it never slows sales down Help evaluate and, if appropriate, lead the replacement of our multi‑carrier shipping platform — one of several systems currently on the table Coordinate external NetSuite developers and consultants when specialized work is required, and reduce our reliance on them over time Document the systems landscape — integrations, known issues, dependencies — so knowledge stops living in one person’s head Make clear decisions on what to build, what to buy, what to integrate, and what to leave alone WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Sales can launch SKUs, change pricing, and adjust promotions across channels faster than we can today New retailer and marketplace onboarding moves in weeks, not months The sales team has real‑time visibility into channel performance and doesn’t wait for reports to know what’s working Systems issues are resolved faster and recur less often Manual work across sales, operations, and finance is measurably reduced through AI‑built tools and automations Day‑to‑day load on our existing systems administrator decreases so they can focus on higher‑value work The systems landscape is documented and understood by more than one person QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of hands‑on NetSuite or other ERP experience as an administrator, analyst, or developer, including SuiteScript, saved searches, and workflows Direct experience implementing or maintaining EDI connections with major marketplace or big‑box retailers (Amazon, Wayfair, Costco, Sam’s Club, Home Depot, Walmart, or similar) Experience with high‑volume dropship operations, where single-unit orders flow through EDI and API integrations at scale Concrete, recent examples of building with AI tools — systems, scripts, automations, or internal tools you can describe in detail A demonstrated track record of finishing what you start, not just starting things Strong judgment about systems architecture and tradeoffs, and willingness to make calls without full consensus Able to work independently in an in‑person, collaborative environment CONSIDERED AN ASSET NetSuite Administrator or SuiteCloud Developer certification Experience with marketplace seller APIs, channel management tools, or listing/content automation platforms WMS or 3PL systems experience Background in a growing SMB rather than only large enterprises COMPENSATION Competitive, commensurate with experience. We are happy to discuss specifics with candidates who reach the conversation stage. TIMING We are running this search deliberately rather than urgently. Our ideal start date is flexible — we’d rather take the time to find the right person than fill the seat quickly. If you’re a strong fit but your earliest start is several months out, that’s fine; we’d still like to talk. #J-18808-Ljbffr
