Duties:Provide Duty of Care evaluations of CANADEM associates deployed to various missions.Ability to occasionally conduct support sessions in person at HQ in Ottawa.Administer inoculation calls to consultants prior to deployment.Conduct critical incident support and debriefing calls.Assist CANADEM staff with training programs both internal and external.Evaluate, expand, and develop a Duty of Care program to match the ongoing needs of CANADEM deployees.On occasion, DoC Specialist would deploy to field missions if deemed necessary to provide in-field monitoring and evaluation of Duty of Care activities of CANADEM associates.Qualifications:Post‑secondary degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling, Social Work or other relevant degrees combined with professional expertise.Minimum 5‑7 years’ work experience in the field of mental health.Fluency in English is required. Fluency in other languages such as French, Arabic, Spanish, etc., is an asset.International experience in humanitarian response and intercultural understanding is desirable.Ability to use tact and diplomacy and maintain confidentiality in dealing with sensitive employee and consultant data.Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills across diverse audiences.Ability to handle stressful situations and work within tight deadlines.Strong organization skills.Must be able to work independently.Flexible and adaptable to respond quickly when deployees require assistance.Demonstrates a cooperative and team‑oriented mindset.Contract Details: Contract length: Ongoing, as required.
