Overview By joining our team, you’ll work on environmental projects focused on air quality, environmental compliance and the quantification and control of atmospheric emissions. The role involves contributing to various engineering phases, performing calculations, optimizing designs, drafting technical reports, and participating in plant measurement activities. You may also work on engineering projects within the Mechanical or Process Engineering departments when the air quality team is involved. This position is a regular, full‑time role.ResponsibilitiesSupport a dynamic team of engineers, scientists, and technologists working on atmospheric emissions.Help obtain environmental permits and approvals from Québec and other Canadian regulatory bodies.Conduct atmospheric emission dispersion modelling studies (AERMOD, CALPUFF).Assess and select equipment for controlling atmospheric emissions.Write technical reports and perform engineering calculations.Actively participate in air quality projects and related mechanical and process engineering projects, such as energy efficiency, combustion, dust capture solutions and control of industrial air emissions.QualificationsBachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.Three years of experience in relevant engineering disciplines.Ability to draft technical documents.Advanced English skills.Advanced French skills.Available for occasional travel to client sites or offices across Québec and Canada.Willingness to develop skills across mechanical, process and environmental disciplines.Asset: Ability to code and use Python-type coding tools.Asset: Knowledge of atmospheric emissions and air quality regulations.Asset: Understanding of climate change issues, GHG calculations, climate resilience, and decarbonization.Asset: Familiar with energy efficiency, combustion, industrial ventilation, dust control and atmospheric emission calculations.BenefitsAnnual premium program for all regular employees.Onsite mobility premium.Time bank.Cellphone fee reimbursements.Group insurance plan from the first day of employment, including disability insurance and a telemedicine program.Retirement savings plan.Annual vacation and sick leave.Premium for employee referrals.#J-18808-Ljbffr
