Job Description The Manager, Finance will lead finance and operations for Brookfield Energy Group’s Private Funds. This role provides high visibility and interaction with senior leadership, with responsibilities across financial reporting, treasury, compliance, investor relations, business planning, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage fund operations, including investor inquiries, liaison with external administrators, and quarterly financial, ESG‑focused performance returns and statements. Participate in day‑to‑day fund operations such as treasury, liquidity management, and capital transactions. Compile, analyze, and report on corporate and key business metrics for the energy investment portfolio. Lead technology initiatives to enhance data reporting and provide timely, meaningful insights to stakeholders. Provide subject‑matter expertise on fund operational matters, including investor reporting, valuations, performance measurement, and administration. Support the annual valuation process through model review and consolidated management presentations. Actively manage the annual audit process. Work with internal and external parties to maintain accurate legal entity records in compliance with accounting standards. Prepare analyses and reports for senior management to aid business decision‑making. Contribute to fundraising analysis for new private energy funds. Mentor and develop Financial Analysts and Senior Financial Analysts, offering feedback and performance reviews. Conduct ad‑hoc analyses and presentations on platform financial and operational results and support special projects. Qualifications & Requirements University degree in Business, Finance, or related field. Recognized professional accounting designation (CPA or CA). Minimum of 5 years in accounting or auditing functions. Strong financial systems experience, including advanced Excel skills. Highly analytical with great attention to detail. Demonstrated leadership ability, team player, positive attitude, and proactive work approach. Experience managing staff through large projects and tight timelines. Excellent communication skills for interacting with all organizational levels. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
