Reporting to theManager,Student Recruitment the Coordinator, Student Recruitment plays a key role in supporting student recruitment agencies, networks, and partners who contribute to the university inaccomplishingits strategic enrolment goals. TheCoordinatorsupportsstudent recruitment programs and services that welcomedomestic and international learners in Ontario and Canada. TheCoordinatorrepresentsOCAD U at various recruitment functions,in-person and virtually,anddevelops communication materials to provide information and counselling to future OCAD U students. Summary of Responsibilities Train and onboard international recruitment collaborators and agent partners, andmaintainongoing relationships with global recruitment stakeholders and international student recruitment initiatives Coordinateandadminister– theannual agent evaluation and assessment surveys to drive evidence-based decision-making that strengthen recruitment goals,prioritiesand outcomes Oversee the coordination and executionoffamiliarization (FAM) tours and fly-in events for international agents and recruitment partners to strengthen relationships and support recruitment efforts Support the Manager, Student Recruitment and Manager, Business Strategy in agent-related recruitment initiatives, including managing inquiries, supporting contractnegotiationsand developing andmonitoringterms and conditions Respond to telephone, email, and in-person inquiries from prospective students, parents, and educators, providingtimely,accurate, andaccessible information Work withthe Lead, National Student Recruitment,to plan, coordinate,andparticipatein, student recruitment initiatives and events, both in-person and virtual, including school visits, portfolio reviews, information sessions, program events, and liaison workshops Represent OCAD U at various virtual and in-person recruitment events (e.g. high school visits, presentations and panels, university/pathways fairs, portfolio reviews etc.) across Ontario, Canada,and internationally,providingprospective students withall necessary information about the University (e.g. admissions information, academic entrance requirements, portfolio building support, scholarship information, campus and Toronto life, etc.) Support the Lead, National Student Recruitment in expanding and executing recruitment strategies for the onshore international student population in Canada byleveragingpartnership opportunities with local language schools through targeted recruitment outreach (campus tours, webinars, info sessions) Support and propose new student recruitment strategies for the University’s recruitment enrolment targets andobjectivesthrough data entry, research proposals, report writing, presentation building, contentcreationand clerical work Support the Coordinator, Visitor Experience and Campus Eventswith the planning anddeliveryof major University events(Open house, National PortfolioDayand Grad Ex) and portfolio reviews Track,monitorand report on the effectiveness of recruitment visits, including recording and compiling reportssubmittedby staff through the Client Relationship Management (CRM) databasesMaintain and expand the database of departmental contacts, including high schools (teachers and counsellors), post-secondary institutions, recruitment agencies, and community or industry partners Ensure recruitment activities arealignedwith established structures,policies,.andservice standards,while advancing diversity, equity, inclusivity, and accessibility (DEIA) across programs, services, and communications Represent OCAD U in various inter-university recruitment committees and networks (e.g.Ontario University General Committee Student Recruitment, Art & Design Universities Canada etc.) andmaintainup-to-date knowledge of post-secondary student recruitment trends and practices asrequired Support theManager, Student Recruitmentwith other duties or projects that contribute to the successful operation of Admissions & Recruitment Qualifications Post-secondary degree or equivalent, preferably in fine art & design Three (3)yearsof progressive post-secondary student recruitment, studentservicesor equivalent experience Knowledge of Ontario, Canadian and international secondary and post-secondary school systems Excellent technical computing skills, including the ability to create documents, forms and templates using Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite Experience using the Slate admissions platform Ability to create accessible documents, PDFs and videos usingKnowmia Ability to host and provide technical support to live online events Familiarity with databases, with a demonstrated ability to learn in-house programs and systems; must be willing and able to work occasional eveningsand weekends, asrequired Compensation OPSEU Unit I, Appendix A, Grade A4; $57,486.45 to $75,566.13 per annum Hours of Work 35 hours per week. Monday to Friday, must be willing and able to work occasional evenings and weekends, as required Mode of Work Hybrid: on-campus 3 days per week and remote 2 days per week, subject to change based on operational needs. This role may occasionally require work outside of regular business hours in order to support operational requirements.
