Commercial HVAC Field Service Rep/Trainer Posted Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 4:00 AM Position Type: Full-Time Department: Energy Solutions Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Manager, Technical Services & Training, the CAC Field Service Representative and Trainer is a specialist who supports heat-pump and ventilation systems. The role is responsible for performing a variety of functions to ensure timely and effective technical services, support, and training for assigned product lines and provide customer support for growing business needs. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain high level of communication with customers via email and phone Preparation of technical documents including technical notes, reference sheets, training materials, etc. Take full ownership of both internal and external working relationships with the distributors and factory engineering personnel to resolve product performance issues, QA, and technical investigations Provide technical support by phone and in person to contractors and distributors, as needed Provide on-site training and product support, as needed Liaise with internal departments and stakeholders as required Additional duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 5+ years' experience in HVAC, preferably commercial and refrigeration ODP certificate is required VRF knowledge is an asset Distributor or Contractor a strong asset 313A or D refrigeration license is an asset Knowledge of Hydronic Heating & Cooling systems is an asset Controls knowledge (BAS) Knowledge to work with PowerPoint/Excel/Word Passion for continuous learning Note: This posting is for an existing vacancy. The expected base salary range for this position is $75,000-100,000. Actual total compensation may include variable incentive pay.
