Contributes to the overall success of the Financial Governance team in Technology as part of OCIO ensuring specific individual goals, plans and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Responsibilities Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Own and maintain Project Falcon savings pipelines, including F26 Technology savings and YTD tracking. Validate savings assumptions, classifications, and timing with Finance partners (e.g., run‑rate vs in‑year, CTB vs RTB). Lead monthly and quarterly savings validation cycles, including MMR and executive scorecard inputs. Ensure savings alignment with Finance confirmation and audit expectations. Support Vendor Management and Workforce value streams with financial analysis and savings tracking. Track dependencies, risks, and financial impacts across Falcon initiatives. Support labour, workforce, and contractor mix analysis tied to Falcon productivity goals. Partner with Procurement and Finance to align savings definitions and measurement. Produce and maintain CIO‑level Falcon templates and decks. Consolidate individual CIO inputs into master Falcon CIO reporting decks. Support SteerCo, CIO, and OCIO forums with accurate, defensible financial views. Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day‑to‑day activities and decisions. Actively pursue effective and efficient operations in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring day‑to‑day business controls for compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. Champion a high performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment. Manage cross functional teams with direct or indirect reporting relationships. Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of experience in financial forecasting. Project Portfolio financial management knowledge. Strong business acumen and organizational skills. Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem‑solving skills with outstanding business acumen and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal for interacting with offices with varying cross‑cultural and language differences. Advanced leadership skills in building strategic relationships and customer focus. Desire to work in a hands‑on team environment.
