At Pursuit, this full‑time seasonal role will be based at the remote Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park, on‑site living 100 km from Jasper with surrounding glacier views. The position will run during Spring/Summer 2026. Compensation includes $18.00 per hour plus an end‑of‑season retention bonus up to $0.50 per hour and $20 per day for housing and meals. Role & Responsibilities Oversee sales of souvenirs, clothing, and jewelry Assist as needed in the Photo Department Uphold high standards of service, merchandising, and display Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and cash‑out forms responsibly Keep the sales floor and storage areas clean and organized Communicate with co‑workers and management, forward observations and comments in a timely manner Apply upselling and cross‑selling techniques to maximize staff incentive potential Collect feedback forms from customers, answer phone calls, and facilitate efficient inventory management and movement Uphold environmental stewardship standards Perform other duties as assigned Required Skills & Qualifications Excited about living and working in a remote yet social environment Previous guest service and cash handling experience an asset Guest‑service oriented mindset and passion for delivering memorable experiences Second‑language speaking an asset Mature, energetic, dependable, and self‑motivated Enjoy working with a diverse team in a busy, fast‑paced environment Meets organization grooming and appearance standards Consents to a criminal record check to honor the “Always Honest” commitment Equal Employment Opportunities Pursuit is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
