Forge Connections, Fuel Growth We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead product definition, prioritization, and outcomes, translating customer, partner, regulatory, and operational requirements into practical, deployable solutions. How will you contribute to the team? The Product Manager is responsible to own the end-to-end lifecycle of our infrastructure technology products. This role is accountable for product strategy, execution, and commercial outcomes, balancing technical feasibility, customer needs, and financial performance. This is a hands‑on role that provides functional leadership across engineering, operations, finance, and external partners. Product Strategy & Ownership Own the full product lifecycle, from concept and applied R&D through pilot deployment, iteration, scaling, and commercialization Define product vision, objectives, success metrics, and outcomes aligned with business goals and customer needs Act as the primary owner of product scope, roadmap, prioritization, and delivery outcomes Translate customer, regulatory, infrastructure, and operational requirements into clear, actionable product requirements Customer, Partner & Market Insights Engage with municipal, industrial, and institutional partners to understand user needs and deployment environments Gather and synthesize feedback from pilots, field deployments, and partners into prioritized product improvements Represent the voice of the customer and end user in cross-functional decision‑making Ensure solutions are practical, reliable, scalable, and ready for real?world deployment Roadmap, Prioritization & Decision‑Making Develop and maintain a product roadmap covering features, pilots, enhancements, and operational readiness Prioritize work based on customer impact, technical feasibility, risk, and financial return Make informed trade‑off decisions across scope, timeline, cost, and performance Recommend go/no‑go decisions for pilots, enhancements, and scaling initiatives Financial Ownership & P&L Accountability Define and evolve product pricing and commercial models Analyze cost drivers, unit economics, cost‑to‑serve, and cost‑to‑scale Develop and maintain product‑level financial forecasts Track performance against revenue, cost, and margin targets Recommend design, pricing, or scope adjustments to improve long‑term product viability Pilot Execution & Scaling Define measurable success criteria for pilot deployments Oversee planning and execution of pilots and field trials with engineering and operations teams Assess pilot outcomes against product and financial metrics Use evidence from pilots to support commercialization and scaling decisions Cross‑Functional & External Leadership Provide product direction and clarity to engineering, operations, manufacturing, and partners Align teams around shared goals, timelines, success metrics, and financial objectives Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, and service providers to meet performance and cost targets Reporting, Compliance & Governance Prepare and support internal reporting on product progress, risks, and financial performance Contribute to documentation for government‑funded or regulated projects Ensure product records align with internal quality, safety, and compliance standards Maintain organized product documentation to support audits, reviews, and scaling Education & Skill Requirements Postsecondary degree or equivalent experience in engineering, applied science, product management, or a related technical field 3–6 years of experience in product management, technical product ownership, or a related role Experience translating customer and operational needs into product requirements Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, and external partners Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills Demonstrated ability to make structured trade‑off and prioritization decisions Experience with hardware‑enabled products, field‑deployed systems, or infrastructure technology Exposure to pricing models, unit economics, or product‑level financial analysis Experience supporting pilot deployments or early‑stage commercialization Familiarity with government‑funded, grant‑based, or regulated project environments Product or project management certification Salary Range Salary range between $75K-125K, depending on experience This is a full time position KenWave is an inclusive and equal opportunity employer committed to providing diversity and accommodation for applicants upon request in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). #J-18808-Ljbffr
