The role Kollabtek is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support our customers in the development and integration of embedded electrical systems. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, integration, and validation of electrical systems related to energy generation, conversion, and distribution. You will work as a technical expert in multidisciplinary teams, ensuring solutions comply with technical, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements. Your responsibilities Define and evolve technical requirements (performance, security, costs, standards). Design and develop electrical architectures (power distribution, networks, protection). Develop electrical diagrams, block diagrams and design files. Contribute to the integration of systems (ECUs, sensors, actuators, energy storage, etc). Plan and execute validation activities (functional, environmental, EMC testing). Verify and approve the concepts developed (internal and suppliers). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, software, manufacturing). Support suppliers in a co‑development and qualification approach. Support production and after‑sales service in the resolution of technical issues. Participate in design reviews and technical monitoring of projects. Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and engineering practices. Your Background And Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent. Member of the OIQ (or in the process of being one). Experience in product development and electrical system integration. Knowledge of embedded networks (CAN, Ethernet) and applicable standards (EMC, security). Experience in a manufacturing environment (an asset). Knowledge of power distribution, on‑board electronics and energy systems. Experience with electrical harnesses and wiring (an asset). Knowledge of electrical design tools (e.g., E‑PLAN or equivalent – an asset). Knowledge of mechanical drafting software (an asset). Ability to manage multiple projects and evolve in a multidisciplinary environment. Autonomy, rigor and good engineering judgment. Bilingualism French / English (depending on client context).
