We are looking for a technical expert with strategic, client‑facing skills to help win new business and deliver the best for our existing partnerships by establishing MiQ’s differentiated media, analytics, and tech capabilities. You will support commercial teams to communicate and execute our emerging collection of analytics offerings, scope custom analytics projects for key accounts, and work closely with Data Science and Engineering to build innovative offerings that drive performance. Role Sr. Solutions Engineer Location Toronto, Ontario What You’ll Be Doing You will work closely with Sales, Account Managers, and Sales Engineering to scope client analytics opportunities, and work closely with Data Science, Analysts, and Engineering to deliver on scoped projects. Responsibilities Create custom project proposals, automate and execute repeatable workflows, and build dashboards and decks that turn technical outputs into clear client‑ready materials. Partner with Sales and Account Management to identify opportunities and deliver tailored solutions from pre‑sale through post‑campaign reporting. Work closely with Analysts, Engineers, and Data Scientists to design, build, and execute scalable client solutions. Own delivery of projects end‑to‑end, ensuring work is delivered on time and to a high standard. Produce clear, well‑structured documentation (technical and client‑facing) that is easy to use, maintain, and share. Manage timelines proactively by setting realistic expectations, building in buffers, and coordinating across stakeholders and global time zones. Build strong working relationships with agency partners and direct clients. Communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external stakeholders, adapting style to influence outcomes and drive alignment. Stay approachable and available for collaboration, actively supporting brainstorming and problem‑solving across teams. Shape the product and solutions roadmap by translating client needs, including unarticulated needs, along with market trends and technical learnings into actionable inputs for Product and Data Science teams. Identify and develop new solution opportunities by proactively exploring gaps, testing ideas, and bringing forward scalable approaches. Stay open to new ideas, processes, and ways of working, and apply them to continuously evolve how we build and deliver solutions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field. 3–5 years in the field of programmatic media, digital marketing, or analytics. Knowledge of SQL, Python, Tableau, and cloud computing platforms. Experience with data analysis, data design, and technical storytelling. Experience working with clients and solving their media and analytics needs. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Experience in project management – a plus. Great attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a team. Excellent critical thinking, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Pay Transparency For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Ontario, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Ontario and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $95,000- $120,000. This range does not take into account our bonus and commission structures. Regardless of location, candidates can expect during the first few conversations with MiQ’s Talent team and Hiring Managers to share any approved budget and details on our competitive bonus and commission packages.
