Senior Art Director – Social Creative We're looking for a Senior Art Director who lives and breathes social‑first creative. Someone who can concept thumb‑stopping campaigns one moment and jump behind the camera to shoot them the next. You don't just design for feeds; you understand how content moves through them, what shakes people out of scrolling, and how to craft ideas that scale across platforms. This role is equal parts thinker and maker. You'll lead the art direction on social campaigns from concept through execution, working with our 28+ person studio to bring ideas to life. But you're not precious about handing things off—you’re excited to grab a camera, style a shoot, or edit a reel yourself when the moment calls for it. What you’ll do Concept social‑first campaigns : develop bold, culturally‑informed creative ideas designed specifically for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms. Art direct across the production pipeline : guide projects from initial concept through photoshoots, video production, design, motion graphics, and final delivery. Get hands‑on when it matters : jump into in‑house studio shoots to direct, style, or shoot content yourself. Think in formats and trends : understand the language of Reels, Carousels, Stories, TikToks, and YouTube content. Collaborate with strategists and performance teams : translate content strategies and performance data into creative that hits KPIs while still feeling fresh and authentic. Mentor and elevate our talent : provide creative direction and feedback to designers, video editors, and content producers. Champion platform‑native thinking : push clients and internal teams toward ideas that respect how people actually consume content on social. Experiment with AI tools : explore generative AI for concepting, image creation, video editing, and more. Stay ahead of visual culture : keep your finger on the pulse of what’s breaking through online, from meme formats to emerging creators to platform algorithm shifts. What you bring 5–7 years of experience as an Art Director at an agency, brand, or studio with a strong portfolio of social‑first work that has actually performed in‑feed. Concept and craft in equal measure: you can pitch big campaign ideas in the morning and refine the details of a 9:16 video frame in the afternoon. Photography and/or video skills: comfortable directing shoots and, ideally, able to shoot or edit content yourself when needed. Design fluency: proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects) and comfortable working in Figma or similar tools. Social platform expertise: deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Interest in emerging AI tools: curiosity about generative AI platforms like Nano Banana, Midjourney, Runway, ChatGPT, and other tools that can accelerate creative workflows. Performance mindset: you care about how work performs, not just how it looks. You use data to make creative better, not dilute it. Collaborative energy: you thrive working across disciplines—strategists, performance media, community managers, producers—and know how to rally people around an idea. Portfolio that proves it: show projects and campaigns you've concepted and brought to life, with examples of content you've personally shot, edited, or art‑directed.
