As a Senior Communications Manager, you will create and execute strategic integrated communications supporting major TELUS Health strategic initiatives, working cross‑functionally across all business units and across our B2B portfolio. You will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive, multi‑phase communication strategies for major strategic programs that drive organization evolution, including mergers & acquisitions, post‑acquisition integration and transformational changes. Responsibilities Develop best‑in‑class, timely and consistent communications that support our TELUS Health strategy, on both a proactive and reactive basis. Lead multi‑phased communications roadmaps for major transformational initiatives such as new acquisitions and organizational evolution. Develop and execute comprehensive integration milestone communications strategies, encompassing the complete team member journey from Day 1 to Day 365+. Manage an overarching and ongoing integration communications plan/playbook for all acquisitions across our B2B organization. Identify and implement effective communication strategies and engaging content that enables leaders and team members across the organization to deliver on TELUS Health’s business objectives. Build, maintain and execute communications plans that amplify team culture and engagement and drive advocacy. Deliver proactive and reactive communications: team‑wide emails, speeches, talk‑notes, organizational changes, executive presentations and messaging for sensitive issues. Maintain a regional engagement and translation strategy across our B2B acquisitions. Qualifications What you bring Organized, strategic and able to lead multiple high‑priority projects simultaneously. An expert at adapting writing styles and tailoring content for different audiences and channels, who’s demonstrated strong judgment and discretion. A strategic and creative thinker, with the demonstrated ability to embrace change in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment. Adept at building trusted partnerships with senior leaders and collaborating successfully with various stakeholder groups. An expert at uncovering and communicating compelling stories. Agile and driven to scrutinize existing methods of working using insights and data. Proactive and a proven self‑starter. An exceptional storyteller and writer with proven expertise in writing compelling strategic internal communications, speeches and other materials for senior leaders. A quick learner and comfortable using different digital collaboration and work tools (Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Suite). A keen observer of the general business environment, trends, competitive and regulatory issues and current affairs as they may relate to the health and wellbeing industry and TELUS Health. Sound understanding of TELUS’ brand, social purpose, values and corporate priorities. You have Minimum of seven years’ progressive experience working in corporate communications/internal communications within an entrepreneurial, corporate environment. University degree and/or post‑graduate certificate in an accredited public relations, communications, marketing or journalism designation or extensive related business experience in a senior communications or marketing communications role. Proven success in strategic use of communications to positively impact culture and business results, with a keen focus on team member engagement. Bilingual in English and French (oral and written) is an asset. Familiarity with the healthcare and health technology sector is an asset. Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.) and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position’s main responsibilities given its national scope.
