Overview Job Title: Grades 4-12 Social Studies/History with ELA Grades 10-12, Wildlife 10 and Physical Education Grades 7-12 Teacher 1.0 FTE - Temporary Replacement Location: Eastend School The Chinook School Division requires a full-time (1.0 FTE) teacher for Eastend School beginning August 26, 2026. Eastend School is a K-to-12 school with 77 students and 7 teachers. School and Competition Competition #4019 The Chinook School Division serves over 6,000 students in 60 schools, with over 1,000 collegial and student-centered teachers and support staff. Qualifications Effective interpersonal and communication skills; Proven ability to work collaboratively and an ability to work in a team environment; A teaching philosophy that reflects a constructivist and cooperative learning approach; Ability to work effectively within an environment which includes developing meaningful and productive relationships with students, parents, PLCs, professionals and community service agencies; Demonstrated ability to connect with youth in a student-centered learning environment and an interest or willingness to connect with students outside of the classroom; Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation; Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion; Successful teaching experience or training; Certified as a Teacher in good standing in Saskatchewan or the ability to be certified.
