Lead Consultant, Java FS Developer In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing, and delivering high‑quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies. Responsibilities Strong years of software development experience in Java Server technologies like J2EE, Servlets. Extensive hands‑on experience in Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Integration. Experience in Tomcat, Maven, etc., tools used for Java development. Experience with service‑oriented Architecture (SOA). String knowledge of object‑oriented programming design patterns and methodologies. Extensive experience in Java, Sybase, ORMs, SQL, JDBC, Embedded SQL. Good understanding of Web services protocols such as REST, SOAP and API design for extensibility and portability. Effectively work with PMO, development, product management, business and technical operation, system engineering, infrastructure, network and architecture teams. Design and develop front‑end React/Angular based application. Perform new development, maintenance fixes and enhancement to meet business requirements. Draft and review architectural diagram, specifications, business requirement and various design documents. Work with our existing technology stack in Java, C++ Linux, Unix, open‑source platform, and SOA as well as new technology for our next generation solution. Document technical requirements, program and subsystem design, resolutions to system problems, project task description, effort estimate, and unit and integration test. Maintain awareness of industry training, compliance concerns, risk control process, and regulatory landscape. Mentor other software developers. Minimum Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as git and Bitbucket. Practical experience and understanding of low latency messaging middleware. Practical experience working within the scrum framework and agile methodology. Must possess strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to occasionally wander into other areas, for example back in DevOps other team codebase and shape end‑to‑end solutions. Drive to learn, grow, and make things better than you find it. Compensation The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $55,000 to $68,500. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
