Temps complet Work Model: Hybrid We are looking for a talented FinOps Developer to join our team. This role focuses on automating the retrieval, validation, and reporting of infrastructure, software, database, and cloud-related costs while supporting broader FinOps operations such as anomaly detection, cost allocation analysis, account governance, and optimization planning. The ideal candidate combines strong Python development skills with practical cloud knowledge and the ability to translate cost data into actionable insights for technical and business stakeholders. Main Responsibilities Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate the gathering and reporting of cost data for cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure, Alibaba Cloud(Aliyun)) and on-premises infrastructure, as well as automate additional reporting for software and other services (e.g., database-related) to minimize errors. Create and maintain dashboards and reporting pipelines that provide timely visibility into spend, usage trends, marketplace charges, and optimization opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cost optimization strategies are implemented effectively. Participate in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation solutions that improve operational efficiency across cloud and hybrid environments. Conduct cost allocation analysis and verify automated reporting results against cloud billing sources to improve accuracy and continuously refine FinOps automation. Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve automation and operational efficiency. Design, document, and maintain FinOps automation procedures, reporting logic, and operational documentation related to the tools and solutions delivered. Qualifications 5+ years of experience with Python scripting for automation tasks and proficiency in generating reports using the Python pandas library. Experience working with and refactoring legacy code, with a strong understanding of clean code principles, maintainability, and debugging practices. Architecture skills, to translate functional requirements into robust, scalable systems and reporting solutions. Strong understanding of Clean Code principles. Experience with GitLab. Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure, Alibaba Cloud(Aliyun)), with a preference for experience across multiple providers. Experience in cloud cost monitoring, budget tracking, anomaly detection, and cost optimization analysis. Solid understanding of public cloud pricing concepts, including Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, commitments, and general cloud billing mechanics. Familiarity with cloud account structures, tagging strategies, and cost allocation best practices, including tools such as AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, and comparable billing/cost management tools. Experience building or supporting automated cost reporting processes and validating results against source billing data. Experience in monitoring and analyzing cloud usage and cost optimization. Proficiency in Linux-based systems and shell scripting. Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Basic understanding of networking and infrastructure concepts. Experience working with service-oriented architecture: APIs and SDKs. Autonomy and ability to quickly learn new technologies. Ability to work on multiple tasks while managing priorities and respecting delivery deadlines. Good communication skills and capacity/willingness to work with coworkers outside of their immediate team or at a different studio location. Bilingual in English and French. Assets Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises environments. Exposure to FinOps practices and FinOps Framework best practices for AWS, GCP, and internal cloud cost management. Exposure to multi-cloud cost management tools or third-party FinOps platforms. Familiarity with serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions). Hands‑on experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, or similar). Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management. Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack). Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
