We are looking for an Operations & Automation Manager to join a fast-growing operations environment where systems, processes, and automation are actively evolving. This role sits between frontline operations and senior leadership and focuses on improving throughput, identifying operational bottlenecks, and supporting automation and systems initiatives across the business. The scope of this role is intentionally hands-on and is expected to evolve as the individual grows with the business. This role is well suited to someone early in their management career who has had exposure across engineering, operations, or process- driven environments and is ready to take on broader ownership. What you’ll be responsible for Spend time on the floor observing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and translating operational issues into practical improvements Support and drive process, systems, and automation initiatives that improve fulfillment throughput, accuracy, and reliability Use data to understand performance trends, validate assumptions, and support operational decision-making (e.g. KPIs, throughput, cycle times) Partner closely with operations leads, engineering/automation teams, and senior leadership to improve execution and ways of working Step in hands‑on during peak periods to support operations and resolve issues as needed Contribute to the ongoing development of processes, tools, and operating models as the business scales What we’re looking for 3–4 years post-graduation experience Engineering or engineering‑adjacent background (e.g. Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Engineering & Operations), with a clear interest in operations rather than deep technical design Experience in fulfillment, logistics, manufacturing, or automation‑enabled operational environments Strong comfort working with data (Excel / Google Sheets required; SQL or BI exposure is a plus) Experience in roles where scope is broad, priorities evolve, and learning happens quickly Comfortable giving direct, constructive feedback and working across different personalities Willingness to be hands‑on and take ownership rather than managing from a distance Experience in graduate development programs, rotational roles, or cross‑functional project environments is considered an asset.
