Principal Consultant – Role Overview Argano seeks a Principal Consultant who provides leadership and guidance on complex issues, is a subject matter expert in their field, communicates the impact of recommendations across workstreams, drives client business objectives, leads field activities and project management, delivers quality work in large client projects, mentors consultants, and models excellent communication and teamwork. Responsibilities Lead multiple mid- to large-size and complex consulting projects simultaneously. Align existing client practices and procedures with validated HCM Cloud methods to solve client needs. Identify business requirements and map them to Oracle Cloud functionality. Identify functionality gaps and develop solutions through process or design. Configure the Oracle Cloud to meet client requirements and document application set‑ups. Analyze and resolve functionality issues and proactively identify long‑term solutions. Lead and present to clients and internally. Build future process flow diagrams. Advise clients on options, risks, and impacts on other processes or systems. Manage scope and client expectations on individual assignments. Lead and support clients with the execution of test scripts. Participate in internal forums for training, teamwork, issue resolution, and innovative design. Develop and implement long‑term client strategies. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, communicating with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and keeping all parties informed. Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives, challenges, and technology requirements, and conduct thorough assessments to identify technology‑driven improvements. Provide expert advice on technology solutions and tools to enhance client operations, facilitate informed decisions, and source necessary hardware, software, or services. Negotiate contracts, agreements, and provide ongoing technical support after implementation. Continuously monitor performance, recommend updates, upgrades, or modifications, and support optimization. Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Experience Module‑specific experience in Time and Absence Modules. 10 years of consulting experience or related field. Demonstrated understanding of business practice concepts in your module of expertise. Track record of building long‑lasting client relationships. 5 full life cycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementations. Preferred consulting experience in a similar role at a professional services firm or strategic industry experience. Previous experience with IT companies. In‑depth knowledge of relevant technologies and systems. Ability to understand fundamental system design and purpose. Ability to engage effectively at both business and technical levels. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of project implementation methodologies. Strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of challenges commonly faced by client and implementation teams. Ability to work autonomously and within a team. Self‑motivated with capacity to plan work effort and manage priorities. Willingness to travel as necessary. Bonus Qualifications Oracle certified in your module of expertise. Experience managing and delivering large projects, including planning and estimating. Validated ability to support sales as a subject‑matter expert. Understanding of business‑related drivers and parameters.
