How does the role impact the organization? The Senior Business Management Associate is an integral member of the WS team dedicated to supporting the delivery of service excellence to our RJL advisors and their clients. This role will be responsible for supporting the delivery of key reporting and strategic objectives of the WS team. Reporting to the SVP, Head of Wealth Solution and working directly with the VP, Head Wealth Planning & Tax and the VP, Head Insurance Solutions, this individual is a key member of the WS team supporting strategic initiatives and activities related to the delivery of services and solutions by our teams of specialists and business units (including Solus Trust Company, and the Wealth Planning, Tax Consulting, and Insurance Solutions teams). The successful candidate possesses initiative, is detail-oriented with strong organizational and technology skills, and the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively within the greater RJL organization. Total Wealth Solutions Develop and produce ongoing reporting and dashboards, including analyzing and interpreting data generated by our internal platforms and CRMs Analyze and interpret data generated by our internal CRM platforms: Microsoft Dynamics, TNet and Equisoft and identify the necessary reporting required for team and the respective business group’s goals, KPIs and enterprise-wide reporting. Supports and contributes to key initiatives related to strategic priorities for the WS department heads Supports and contributes to strategic planning initiatives and activities including preparing materials, presentation decks and collaborating with WS leadership team in meetings and offsites Works collaboratively with RJL departments to support projects and deliverables impacting WS departments Work collaboratively with RJL IT and internal partners to develop reporting to support WSWS team metrics. Accountable for the coordination and timely production of reporting (monthly/quarterly) for RJL, RJFP and Solus Trust Boards and Leadership teams. Support third party relationships including invoicing as required for WS business groups in collaboration with RJL IT and Finance teams. Develop and oversee the administrative and operational support processes as required within the WS business groups. Organize the onboarding of new members of the WS teams and coordinate with appropriate RJL partners. Accountable for the ongoing review and maintenance of WS RJNet pages and collaboration with RJL IT, CC&M and other departments. Support the review of WS thought leadership content, webinar processes and calendar, to ensure timely delivery and coordination. Other duties as assigned. What can you expect from us? Works well independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communications (verbal and written) and interpersonal skill. Exceptional in fostering supportive team environment, and ability to work with all team members. Educational/Previous Experience Requirements College diploma or University degree with a focus on business and/or finance. Ten+ years of financial services industry, including planning and supporting solutions based business units. Licenses/Certifications Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation is an asset. Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) and/or Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation is an asset. Travel Occasional travel may be required. Salary Range $85,000-100,000 annually, in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.
