As part of our Engineering Services group, the Airports team delivers innovative planning and engineering solutions for major airport and heliport programs. We are seeking an ORAT (Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer) Functional Lead to support one of the most significant Canadian airport programs of the decade, contributing to safe, efficient, and high‑performance passenger transport systems. This role is based full time at the project office five days per week to enable close collaboration and successful program delivery. Your Role Engage stakeholders and establish ORAT workstreams and working groups. Develop and manage workstream plans aligned with the overall ORAT program and countdown schedule. Identify dependencies, milestones, risks, and issues, and elevate threats to the ORAT Lead as required. Ensure operational plans, processes, systems, facilities, people strategies, and readiness activities meet agreed performance objectives. Lead the development and execution of trials, transition, logistics, and opening strategies in collaboration with stakeholders. Validate space readiness, systems operability, operational procedures, and service provisions for live operations. Coach, mentor, and support the development of client and stakeholder teams to enable long‑term success. About You Ability to lead large, complex airport or infrastructure programs with multiple stakeholders. Proficiency in ORAT planning, governance, and delivery across diverse operational workstreams. Ability to analyze operational readiness challenges and develop practical, risk‑based solutions. Aptitude for managing senior stakeholder relationships and providing clear, decision‑ready reporting. Strong understanding of the aviation industry and holistic airport operations. Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $100,200 - $137,700 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role.
