Summary The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and executing the end‑to‑end movement of goods across domestic and international channels. This role ensures timely, cost‑effective, and compliant transportation of shipments while coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, highly organized, and proactive in resolving issues, with a strong understanding of global logistics, documentation, and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in maintaining supply chain efficiency and supporting overall business operations. This position is based out of our manufacturing site at St. SE office. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage domestic and international shipments (air, ocean, ground) from origin to final delivery Prepare and review shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, export paperwork) Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and import/export laws Work closely with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to optimize shipping timelines and costs Track shipments in real time and proactively resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies Communicate shipment status updates to internal (sales, operations, warehouse) and external stakeholders Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with logistics providers to improve and maintain cost efficiency Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules to ensure timely transit of goods Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and logistics movements Analyze logistics performance metrics and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost savings Assess and handle claims related to lost or damaged goods and follow through to resolution Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and handling requirements are met for different shipment types Stay updated on changes in shipping regulations, tariffs, and global trade conditions that may impact operations Select and maintain a group of carriers in primary and secondary capacities spanning the entire freight range from courier to oversized Approve invoices, assuring compliance with existing rate structures Proficient in freight classes, including Incoterms 2020 Qualifications 3–5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination (domestic and international preferred) Strong knowledge of international shipping processes, Incoterms, and customs documentation Experience working with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers Familiarity with import/export regulations and compliance requirements Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP) and logistics/shipment tracking software Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast‑paced environment Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to handle delays and unexpected issues Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners Experience negotiating freight rates and managing transportation costs is an asset Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (tracking, reporting, analysis) Ability to analyze data and recommend process improvements Demonstrated education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Professional certifications such as CITT, CSCMP, or APICS are considered an asset Benefits Values Based Organization Competitive Compensation Safety Focused Culture Incentive Programs Professional Development Opportunities Collaborative in‑office work environment, supportive team members Equal Opportunity Employer Enerflex grants equal employment opportunity to all qualified persons without regard to race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, genetic information, mental or physical disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
