STATUS: OngoingEMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time/Contract Senior Delivery Manager Toronto, ON (Hybrid) About the Career About the role: We are looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to lead the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects, preferably within an Agile environment. You will collaborate closely with clients, developers, business analysts, and cross‑functional teams to ensure project objectives are met on time, within scope, and on budget. Acting as the primary point of contact between business and technology teams, you will be responsible for driving delivery excellence, managing risks, and enabling smooth collaboration across all stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Plan, lead, and deliver multiple concurrent projects/workstreams, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables align with business objectives Create and manage project plans, resource allocations, schedules, and budgets to track and ensure successful delivery Oversee project finances, including tracking budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting Manage project interdependencies and coordinate with other teams to resolve conflicts and ensure alignment across programs Drive proactive identification and mitigation of risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as required with well‑defined action plans Provide clear, timely, and structured reporting on project progress, key decisions, and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders Organize and facilitate stakeholder meetings (e.g., sprint demos, risk reviews, steering committee meetings and financial oversight) to keep teams aligned and informed Promote Agile best practices including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement Required Expertise 10+ years of experience managing end‑to‑end IT project delivery in a technical or software development environment Proven experience creating and managing project plans, tracking deliverables, and aligning project scope with business goals Strong governance skills in forecasting, resource management, burn tracking, and change control Demonstrated success in leading Agile delivery teams, including sprint ceremonies, backlog management with product owners and team velocity optimization Proficiency with collaboration and tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalent Strong ability to identify and manage project risks, providing clear communication and escalation to leadership when required Exceptional communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders Preferred Expertise Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field Relevant Project Management, Agile, Lean, or Scrum Master Certification (e.g., PMP, CSM, PSM, SAFe) preferred Experience in payments modernization, RTR, ISO20022, banking, fraud platforms, or real‑time transaction systems is a strong asset Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, cloud migration initiatives, and enterprise transformation projects About Level19 Level19 is a trusted technology partner to some of Canada’s leading financial institutions, delivering secure, scalable, and high‑impact solutions.
