Principal Financial Analyst – CDO FP&A As a Principal Financial Analyst on the CDO FP&A team, you will be a key finance partner supporting cloud operations and network infrastructure, managing OPEX in excess of $350M. You will deliver critical financial planning, analysis, and reporting, while also supporting budgeting, forecasting, and business case evaluation. Working closely with senior leadership, you will provide insightful analysis that drives strategic decisions and financial discipline across the organization. What the Role Offers Ownership of financial planning and analysis for cloud operations and network infrastructure Development of bottom‑up budgets and forecasts for OPEX totaling over $350M In‑depth analysis and governance support for software contracts across the CDO organization Accurate and timely execution of month‑end close processes Deep partnership with SVPs, VPs, and cross‑functional stakeholders to monitor and manage costs Analysis of cost drivers and margin performance in collaboration with non‑financial teams Presentation of financial insights to both finance and business leadership Opportunity to shape financial outcomes in a dynamic and complex environment What You Need To Succeed A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics (CPA is preferred) 6+ years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally within the technology or software sector Significant FP&A experience, ideally supporting large‑scale operations in a complex business environmentProven ability to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and month‑end reporting Strong technical knowledge of accounting and financial treatment Experience analyzing contracts and ensuring financial governance Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions in ambiguous situations Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to various stakeholders Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI with strong modeling and data analysis capabilities Comfort working cross‑functionally and influencing at senior levels Compensation At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing.
