Overview The Opportunity I’m partnering with a well-established, Ontario-based engineering consultancy with a strong presence across land development, infrastructure, and construction projects. They’re looking to hire a Project Manager within their Geotechnical group, supporting a wide range of public and private sector clients. This is a leadership-oriented role suited for someone who enjoys balancing technical expertise with team oversight — managing projects from investigation through design and construction, while mentoring staff and contributing to business growth. What You'll Be Doing Leading the planning, design, and execution of geotechnical projects ranging from small studies to large-scale developments Coordinating with internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies to deliver practical, compliant solutions Mentoring and supporting a team of engineers, technologists, and technical staff Contributing to annual planning, forecasting, and longer-term strategic initiatives Monitoring project performance, budgets, and timelines, adjusting priorities as needed to meet targets Building and maintaining strong client relationships while identifying new business opportunities Preparing high-quality proposals, reports, and technical documentation Overseeing invoicing and ensuring overall financial performance of projects Acting as a senior technical reviewer and/or stamping engineer where required Ensuring adherence to internal standards, policies, and quality expectations What You\'ll Need To Be Successful Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario 7+ years of consulting experience, including at least 5 years in a Project Management capacity Strong technical background in geotechnical engineering (e.g., subsurface investigations, foundation design, slope stability) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing Proficiency with MS Office and industry-related software (e.g., AutoCAD, geotechnical analysis tools) Proven ability to manage multiple projects Compensation Range: $120,000 - $130,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr
