Job Description The Airbus A220 commercial aircraft program is seeking a Strategic Buyer of Standard Parts to join our materials and parts purchasing team based in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada. This role focuses on consolidating all cross‑functional team activities, establishing and managing governance and activity calendars, deploying the team dashboard, and ensuring the smooth execution of activities. Your Challenges Consolidate cross‑functional activities of the team per commodity. Establish and manage governance and activity calendars. Support deployment of the team dashboard. Implement governance for new projects (meeting structure, project tracking systems, KPIs). Participate in roadmap and annual plan development for purchasing strategy evolution. Contribute to sourcing, manage tenders and negotiate contracts to secure best purchasing conditions. Monitor contracts throughout innovation, development, production and support phases. Manage day‑to‑day supplier relationships, maximize customer value, minimize TCO and risk. Lead one or more Sub‑MFT and participate in MFT/MDT multi‑functional teams during procurement phases. Contribute to implementation of digital solutions. Comply with Airbus procedural documents. Your Profile Minimum 5 years experience in procurement, preferably in the aeronautical sector. Strong contractual knowledge and experience as an international negotiator. Experience managing supplier relationships or equivalent stakeholder management. Advanced English and working knowledge of French. Excellent relational skills, stakeholder management, conflict management, communication and intercultural competence. Flexible, pragmatic, analytical with strong attention to detail. Ability to work autonomously within international teams in a demanding, evolving environment. Willingness to travel internationally. Travel Requirements Regular business travel worldwide is expected. Occasional travel within Canada and overseas may be required.
