Responsibilities Responsible for meeting firm’s engineering quality levels for discipline on assigned projects. Develop the Basis of Design (BOD), Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD) and Construction Documents (CD) that meet the project requirements within the allocated schedule and budget and use best practices. Develop design concepts and ensure proper application and execution. Act as single point of contact with client project managers for project scope definition, schedule, and budget requirements. Verify work quality regarding specifications, reports, code application, submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables, and drawings. Have a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and advanced concepts to execute all required aspects of discipline engineering. Manage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours. Mentor and encourage development of Designer level staff. Write studies and reports on electrical system work. Contribute to revisions of EXP’s design standards and master specifications. Responsible for applying risk management practices to all projects. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in the Electrical Engineering field. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree. Registered Professional Engineer. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) products and electrical design software. Auto CAD experience required and REVIT MEP proficiency desired. EXP subscribes to the Workplace Equity Program.
