Job Title: Senior Business Analyst - Front Office Term: Long term contract plus multiple extensions We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst/Program Management Analyst to join our core Front Office Central Program Management Team. This is a hybrid role, combining the strategic oversight of a Project Manager with the analytical depth of a Business Analyst. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the timely and effective execution of strategic, long-term deliverables, as well as managing fast-paced, BAU-style changes across various workstreams. The role requires a proactive individual who can navigate complex banking environments and drive outcomes in a dynamic setting. Key Responsibilities Program & Project Management Support Support Program Initiative Leads in the execution of strategic deliverables, ensuring alignment with program objectives. Manage project plans, including tracking milestones, deliverables, and tasks, while ensuring adherence to PMO standards. Oversee and manage project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAIDD), proactively identifying challenges and escalating risks/issues in a timely and well-articulated manner. Facilitate and manage project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, minute-taking, and tracking action items. Produce accurate, insightful, and tailored project update materials and artifacts for various forums and committees. Manage and maintain project documentation, including holiday calendars and other relevant project data. Liaise with Project Leads and Stakeholders to cascade guidance and requirements, ensuring compliance with established PMO standards. Manage queries and requests from the ICG/Markets Transformation PMO, providing prompt and accurate information. Leverage project tracking tools to provide ad-hoc updates and reports as required. Stakeholder Management & Communication Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and joined-up approach to program execution. Create materials and coordinate various governance forums (e.g., SWG, STC, OPCO, DWG), ensuring effective communication and decision-making. Business Analysis & Operating Model Design Contribute to operating model design work, analyzing current states and defining target state processes, tools, and controls. Assist in the socialization and approval of target state tools, processes, and controls at appropriate governance forums. Conduct testing activities, with a preference for experience in Front Office or Finance (Capital) contexts, to ensure solutions meet business requirements. Review Change Request Forms and confirm required signoffs, ensuring changes are properly documented and approved. Key Skills Preferred Banking Domain Expertise: Proven experience in the banking sector, combining both Business Analyst and PMO skill sets. Project Management Acumen: Strong PMO capabilities, including managing project plans, RAIDD logs, status updates, presentation decks, meeting management, and holiday calendars. Testing Experience: Experience in testing, with a preference for Front Office or Finance (Capital) systems/processes. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify challenges, analyze root causes, and proactively seek resolutions or elevate issues effectively. Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce accurate, insightful, and tailored project updates. Tool Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential; VBA, SQL, and Python are advantages. Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across different teams and seniority levels.
