Job Title Sr Technical Delivery Program Manager (AML & Financial Crime) Location & Contract Toronto, ON – Hybrid (4 Days WFO) Contract Length: 6‑12 months Core Responsibilities Drive the technical delivery of the AML/Financial Crime technology roadmap, ensuring milestones are met across systems. Act as the primary technical point of contact between Financial Compliance, Legal, and Engineering teams. Manage the technical roadmap and transition legacy AML systems to modern or AI‑enhanced architectures (e.g., entity resolution, real‑time transaction monitoring). Ensure all technical deliveries meet global regulator standards and manage risk dependencies. Proactively identify technical blockers in the pipeline or validation processes and implement mitigation strategies. Manage relationships with specialized FinCrime third‑party products and oversee their technical integration. Technical Domain Qualifications Deep knowledge of the AML life‑cycle: customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), and suspicious activity reporting (SAR). Experience with sanctions/PEP screening, list management (OFAC, UN, EU), and financial crime typologies (structuring, trade‑based money laundering, crypto‑asset risk). Proficiencies in big‑data cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data tools (Snowflake, Databricks, Hadoop). Familiarity with AI/ML model deployment for fraud detection and model risk management (MRM). Strong data governance, lineage, and quality principles for regulatory audits. Required Skills / Experience 10+ years in technical program management, with at least 5 years in Financial Crime Compliance or Risk Technology. Mastery of Agile, Scrum, and Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe) in a regulated environment. Strategic leadership: proven ability to manage large cross‑functional, multi‑geo teams.
