The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in delivering high‑quality financial reporting and insights to support strategic decision‑making across a growing global organization. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this role is responsible for overseeing the month‑end close cycle, analyzing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal reporting requirements. The successful candidate will partner closely with cross‑functional leaders, contribute to process improvements, and support scalable financial operations in a dynamic, multi‑entity environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the full month-end close cycle, including financial close adjustments, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L variance reviewsMonthly reporting of results, including internal financial statements and Board reporting packagesEnsure that control procedures are followed and documentedAssist with complex accounting, including revenue recognition, financial instruments, lease accounting, inventory, equity compensation, purchase price allocations, and the consolidation processSupport the annual external audit process, including preparation of consolidated financial statementsSupport the maintenance of the global chart of accountsAssist the Treasury team with analysis over bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivableSupport the budgeting and forecasting process, track department and product expenditures and analyze variances to budgetMaintain dashboards and provide financial insights including sales trends, margins, and KPI trackingPartner with functional leaders to provide finance support and insights that assist with strategic decision‑making and drive growthAssist with integration of new acquisitions or business ventures into the global platformTax & Statutory ComplianceAssist with Canadian VAT filings (HST/PST/QST) and US sales tax returns prepared by third party firmsEnsure compliance with global statutory requirements, including corporate tax filings and local statutory auditsAssist with new product sales taxability reviews and transfer pricing studiesQualifications Education & Professional DesignationProfessional accounting designation (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) or actively pursuing oneExperienceA minimum of 3–4 years overall financial reporting and/or related progressive experience is requiredAdvanced knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP is preferredExposure to multi‑divisional, multi‑currency ERP systems is considered an assetPrior experience in a manufacturing environment (including standard costing, BOMs, and routings) considered an assetProficiency in PowerBI considered an assetAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysisStrong internal control knowledge for both systems and processesStrong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information to diverse stakeholdersHigh level of accuracy, attention to detail, and data integrityAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environmentDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
