About the Role Digitail is hiring a Business Development Representative to spearhead their outbound growth engine. This is a high-impact, high-volume role for someone who is gritty, resilient, and energized by the challenge of opening doors. You'll be on the front lines of Digitail's expansion into independent veterinary clinics across North America, working closely with the Account Executive team to drive inbound/outbound revenue. Outbound prospecting, primarily through high-volume phone outreach via auto-dialers, with dedicated daily call blocks. Manage 80–120 accounts per week with a target of 10–15 qualified meetings booked per month. Reach clinic owners and front desk staff at independent, single-location veterinary practices across North America. Handle inbound leads (10% of your time): follow up via phone and text with demo-requesters who haven't yet calendared, and round-robin high-intent MQLs. Leverage automated outbound sequences across email, text, and LinkedIn and provide strategic insight on what's landing and help optimize the cadences. Attend 6–8 conferences and trade shows per year across the US, including large industry events and smaller Digitail-hosted events. Hand off qualified meetings directly to Account Executives. You'll walk into a fully built, advanced tech stack from day one — everything you need to prospect, dial, sequence, and track is already in place. About You You're a natural relationship-builder with a competitive edge — someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn't afraid to pick up the phone. You bring energy, coachability, and a genuine drive to hit your numbers. Whether you're coming from a SaaS sales background or making your move into tech, you're hungry to grow and excited by the opportunity to make a real impact at a company that's scaling fast. 1–3 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role; prior BDR/SDR experience in B2B SaaS is a strong asset. A proven track record of high-volume outbound activity — cold calling, cold outreach, or similar environments where persistence and resilience are non-negotiable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport quickly, whether with a clinic owner or a front desk coordinator. Tech savviness and the ability to learn new tools quickly; comfort with CRMs and sales engagement platforms is an asset. A coachable, growth-oriented mindset — you take feedback, apply it, and continuously look for ways to sharpen your approach. The ability to work independently while staying accountable to team targets and KPIs. Comfort with frequent travel, including trade shows and hosted events across the US every 6–8 weeks. A genuine passion for the mission — the more you care about the space, the better you'll connect with the people you're calling. Must be located in Toronto and open to 3X a week hybrid in-office environment. The Extras that Matter What they’re building matters - it impacts the lives of real people and pets. Comprehensive health coverage with generous PTO. A modern AI-powered outbound stack, direct coaching, and a clear career path to AE, ABM, Sales Ops, or BDR Leadership — plus extra fun perks. Yearly budget for learning and growth opportunities. Competitive compensation & equity - designed to provide you with financial security. Compensation Variable Compensation: Up to $90,000 (performance-based, uncapped). #J-18808-Ljbffr
