Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Business Partner plays a key role in delivering full‑cycle recruitment support focused on attracting top talent within Aecon’s Nuclear division. What You’ll Do Here Conduct full‑cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, telephone screens, interviewing, reference checks, and extending job offers. Identify strategies and sourcing channels to build a pipeline of candidates for the assigned portfolio. Establish connections, maintain and leverage a professional online and social media presence, and prospect talent through your network. Provide trusted advice to hiring managers using diverse interviewing and assessment techniques. Consult with hiring managers on labor market trends, candidate availability, relocation packages, and recruitment risks. Communicate regularly with the business to understand and forecast recruitment needs. Assist on the development of job descriptions and postings. Guide candidates throughout the process and ensure smooth onboarding with HR. Use recruitment data and metrics to gain insights into trends and inform strategies. Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity and belonging. Create and execute an external sourcing plan to build diverse talent pools. Take initiative to understand workforce planning needs and talent roadmaps. Promote Aecon’s values to highlight workplace culture and opportunities. Ensure diversity needs are met and profile quality diverse talent. Maintain candidate data in ATS and use LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other tools daily. Reduce spend with external agencies by recruiting passive candidates and implementing talent programs. Build and maintain brand awareness and industry contacts. Engage with internal partners such as talent acquisition, equity, diversity & inclusion, and HR Leads. What You Bring To The Team 5+ years recruitment experience with at least 3 years leading end‑to‑end recruitment. Post‑secondary education in Human Resources or a related field. Experience in the Nuclear industry and international recruitment is an asset. Exceptional organizational and emerging project management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships. Passion and experience with diversity hiring initiatives. Collaborative self‑starter and creative problem solver. Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems; SAP is an asset. Experience with Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter. Experience with hard‑to‑fill roles and high‑volume sourcing scenarios. Ability to operate independently to create sourcing pipelines. Benefits & Working Arrangements Hybrid work model: three days per week in the office combined with flexibility.Expected salary range: $85,000‑$95,000 per year.
