As Director, Global Talent Development, you will work to design, implement, and scale programs that are founded in the Arc’teryx Leadership Code, and that help employees drive impact in their current roles and build toward their career aspirations. You will be responsible for building leadership capability across all levels of the organization, with a focus on accelerating talent readiness and fostering agile and change ready leaders, while driving business performance to support our next phase of growth. You will oversee and drive the execution of our learning strategy, and partner closely with regions and functions.Core ResponsibilitiesDefining and evolving the global talent development strategy aligned to business prioritiesTranslating long-term strategy into multi-year leadership capability roadmapsPartnering with Leadership and People & Culture to align talent priorities to business outcomesStewarding the Arc’teryx Leadership CodeDesigning and overseeing development frameworks across all levelsBuilding scalable learning journeys and signature programsEnsuring clear leadership expectations at each levelEmbedding change leadership and resilience capabilitiesDesigning accelerated experiences, in partnership with Talent Management leadPartnering with business leaders to create experiential development opportunitiesOverseeing global leadership programs, digital learning platforms, and learning vendorsEnsuring memorable, high-impact learner experiencesAligning retail, corporate, and functional development approachesMeasuring program effectivenessProviding coaching / assessment debriefs to leadersLeading and developing your teamFostering an environment of collaboration, continuous learning, and evolutionLeading through the Arc’teryx Leadership CodeBuilding strength in relationships throughout the Arc’teryx organizationFuture ProjectsDesigning high potential acceleration programs and a General Manager programPartnering with Talent Management on supporting top talent readinessFostering leadership development capabilities within our regionsGrowing toward your own career aspirationsQualificationsYou have 8+ years of progressive experience in leadership developmentYou have deep understanding of talent and leadership developmentYou have proven experience in building globally scalable programming and generating awareness, interest, and hypeYou have experience in a global, matrixed organizationYou have the ability to build strong relationships and partner effectively with all levels of the organizationYou have the ability to see the big picture, translate it into tactical plans, and operationalize with excellenceYou have knowledge of HRIS and talent management technologies a plusYou have excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skillsYou have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insightsYou have demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectivelyYou have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, I/O Psychology, or a related field.
