Responsibilities Act as a Method specialist to write work instructions for the installation/removal of pylon, engine, systems, and nacelle components. You develop assembly sequences, integrate HW, tooling and specific experimental requirements. Coordinate pylons, engines, and nacelles installation/removal on Flying Test Bed (FTB). Plan, prepare, and execute the flight test campaigns of P&W and P&WC experimental engines. Take charge of the flight test schedule to meet key milestones (Installation, ground runs, first flight). Actively involve with multidisciplinary engine program team for flight test campaigns preparation. Prepare risk assessments and coordinate readiness/safety gates of the process. Lead pre‑flight and post‑flight briefings. Operate experimental engines and electrical, pneumatic, fuel and hydraulic systems, and monitor data per applicable flight test plans. Take responsibility for safety related matters through the campaign. Interface with program teams, maintenance, pilots, Flight Test Instrumentation, and quality personnel. Responsible for continuous improvement initiatives and related business innovations. Qualifications Must Have College degree in aircraft maintenance with a minimum of 10 years’ experience or bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Relevant experience of 3 years in engine installation and test. Experience and knowledge of methods engineering. Knowledge of engines, aircraft, hydraulic, fuel, pneumatic, electrical systems, and mechanical assembly. Ability to read drawings and plans. Knowledge of tool equipment and safety procedures. Ability to understand maintenance personnel needs to build and disassemble mechanical systems. Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and to perform under pressure. Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and to face uncertainties. Demonstrated ability to interface with diversity in people and stakeholders involved in flight test campaigns (hierarchy, personalities, suppliers, customers, authorities). Assets Experience and knowledge of flight testing. Knowledge and understanding of Data Acquisition Systems (DAS) and the related engine control systems used in engine test cells. Knowledge of Aerospace Regulations. Knowledge and understanding of requirements for traceability, documentation related to aircraft maintenance. Leadership, autonomy, dedication, passion. Ability to innovate and change status‑quo in the business unit. Additional Information May travel occasionally for business to other P&WC plants and other countries such as USA. Work schedule on day shift and evening shift in rotations (1 week / 6 weeks). Work schedule on weekend (Saturday) in rotations (1 Saturday / 6 week ends). Flight test days start at 7 am and finish at 7 pm at the latest during active flight test campaign.
