We are seeking a skilled digital Archivist with expertise in managing records and documents within Google Drive. The Digital Archivist will be responsible for organizing, preserving and ensuring the accessibility and integration of digital materials stored in Google Drive. Job Description The Digital Archivist will work collaboratively with the Administrative Assistant helping to organize the way that Hear Québec stores and manages its information. They will help organize and make sense of the google cloud system that is used and which is in need of reorganization and a written, systemic procedure document. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital record management best practices, familiarity with Google Drive features, and experience implementing effective digital archiving strategies. Responsibilities Organize and structure digital records within Google Drive, ensuring consistent naming conventions, folder structures and metadata Develop and implement digital records management policies, procedures and practices specific to Google Drive Collaborate with the team to define and implement retention and disposal of digital records in accordance with the legal and regulatory requirements Monitor and implement appropriate access controls, permissions, and security measures for digital records within Google Drive Perform audits and quality checks of digital records to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance Requirements Expertise in using Google Workspace Experience in Data Entry and Filing Experience in organizing and cleaning data Candidate must be eligible for Canada Summer Jobs Must be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or otherwise legally entitled to work in Canada under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of employment Must have a valid Social Insurance Number To Apply for this Canada Summer Jobs position Please submit your CV in English plus a cover letter to explaining how you meet the requirements and assets for this job.
