The opportunity As a Project Manager – Engineering, you will be a key contributor to our Grid & Power Quality Solutions (GPQS) team, specializing in Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS). FACTS technology empowers power system operators to significantly increase the capacity and stability of existing electrical infrastructure, resulting in more efficient power delivery to customers, reduced environmental impact, and lower capital investment compared to traditional alternatives. How you’ll make an impact Lead and coordinate all engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle. Serve as the primary technical liaison with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, cost, and schedule targets. Support proposal development with innovative, cost-effective solutions. Conduct risk and opportunity assessments and implement mitigation strategies. Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and startup phases. Your background Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering; 7+ years of relevant experience Professional Engineering License or ability to obtain one In-depth knowledge of National Electric Code and ANSI/IEEE requirements In-depth knowledge of Transmission High‑Voltage substations Knowledge of FACTS solutions (STATCOM, SVC, Series Capacitor) Experience working in Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) projects Travel required ~20%, both domestic and international Benefits Comprehensive group insurance (medical, dental, life and disability) and access to a telemedicine service.
